Furniture Styles

If I don't have a piece in my inventory you like, then I can start looking on FB marketplace. But first I need to know what kind of style you want.

Rococo
The Rococo era occurred during the reign of Louis XV, between 1720-1730. The Rococo era was characterized by opulent and whimsical styled furnishings that replaced the Baroque furnishings which were prevalent during the reign of Louis XIV.

One of the characteristics of the Rococo style in furniture was the strong use of curves and counter-curves. Rococo furniture used C scrolls, S scrolls, and scroll feet.
Baroque
Baroque furniture was characterized by very ornate, detailed, and luxurious elements. These elements typically included flowers, leaves, cherubs, significant use of gold, and other exaggerated decorations. Baroque style furniture was grand, lavish, and had serious themes.
Waterfall
A style of furniture design from the 1930s and 1940s. It relies on the strength of the molded plywood to give it structure, enabling makers to give it curved or rounded horizontal edges. Waterfall furniture was one of the first styles made mainly from plywood🙀. Previously, most furniture was made from solid wood, or wood with a finer veneer. Most waterfall pieces are plywood with veneer, sometimes very ornate, but certainly not solid.
Serpentine
Features a curved front that visually undulates. This style was very popular in the Rococo period.
Victorian
Features curving lines, ornate details, and heaviness. Revolves around the ideas of "more" and luxury.
Art Nouveau
Features curving, undulating lines that mimic natural vines and branches, asymmetric design and exotic wood-on-wood inlays.
Art Nouveau
